The dance is a language, a poem, a means of expression. The dance represents the qualities of poise, grace, stamina and femininity. The ancient art of belly dance is an art form. The movement is natural. It can heighten your senses and awareness of yourself. It trims your waistline, increases your balance and improves your posture. You will become increasingly aware of your body; how it works and what its capabilities are. This Art comes from confidence. You will probably discover “a you”, that you didn’t know existed. You’ll forget you’re exercising. The dance is a make believe world, a fantasy. It gives you a chance to act out many facets of your personality. It prepares your abdomen before birth. It benefits Conception, Pregnancy and the Postpartum Period! After giving birth, it’s the most natural exercise to get your body fit. Finally, it’s a fabulous way to remove “holiday weight gain”, as well as prepare for the beach. I’m preparing your body for life And if expecting, I’m preparing your body for a new life!
My aim is not only to instruct you in The Ancient Art of Belly Dancing, which will create more poise, balance and confidence but most of all, to help you re teach your body how to use the flexibility you were meant to have for a better and fuller life.
